EYELID DEFENCE has been created by an eye surgeon to specifically defend the sensitive eyelid skin and eye area from the elements. It has been scientifically formulated to be able to provide the claims of ANTI-STING, ANTI-SUN and ANTI-AGEING due to its unique active ingredients.

ANTI-STING and ANTI-SUN

• A high percentage high quality Zinc Oxide provides a non-greasy, mineral and physical barrier to harmful UV providing low-irritation sun protection.
• Inclusion of Aloe Vera Leaf Juice a recognised skin soothing and anti-inflammatory active acts to reduce irritation and prevent skin sensitivity.

ANTI-AGEING

• Laracare A200 Galactoarabinan helps to reduce Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL), help reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Hycare (Sodium Hyaluronate) reinforces the skin’s natural short, provides long term moisturization, can help improve the barrier function of the skin and skin elasticity, may help reduce maximum skin roughness resulting in reduced wrinkle depth.
• Bakuchiol is a natural alternative to Retinol without having any of the negatives associated with Retinol, clinically proven to reduce multiple signs of ageing – Significant reduction in roughness & dryness; fine lines & wrinkles and improvement in skin tone, elasticity & firmness; radiance and brightness.
• Squalane helps protect the skin against loss of moisture, makes it elastic and pliant, and thereby improves the structure of the natural lipid film.
• Caffeine is reported to have antioxidant properties, to improve microcirculation and blood flow, may help to reduce puffy eyes and dark rings around the eye.
