The Power List by The Ophthalmologist
I am extremely honoured to have been chosen as a member of The Power List by The Ophthalmologist Magazine in their 10th year, celebrating “Ten years of excellence and impact in ophthalmology.” I share some amazing company as it is comprised of the Top 100 Most influential and inspirational people in ophthalmology globally, selected by our peers.
I am particularly proud of being recognised in this group, as over the years only a handful of Antipodeans have ever been included. I have always enjoyed learning new things, meeting new people, pushing boundaries safely, and being a part of the global ophthalmic environment. I have been fortunate to be able to share my experiences via publications, podcasts, webinars, lectures, as well as travelling across the globe to participate in conferences.
I aim to continue to have a positive impact in the eye world and I hope that I can inspire the next generation of ophthalmologists to be bold and follow their own dreams. Most importantly, I would like to say thank you to my professional community, colleagues, industry, and mentors, as I could not have got to where I am today without the many opportunities I have been provided.
