I recently implanted the first Galaxy spiral multifocal IOL from Rayner Global in South Australia.

See my cataract surgery video at the link below where you can just make out the refractive surface elements and spiral design that gives a full range of vision without the same degree of halos you get with a normal diffractive trifocal intraocular lens. This feels like the next giant leap in IOL design technology and I’m pleased to be able to offer my patients early access.
