AYE EYE: Chat GPT and what it means for Ophthalmology
As one of the most topical digital tools to hit the world in recent years (and there has been a few…) AI has certainly been a talking point in all world – including mine.
ChatGPT, a revolutionary AI tool, has been making waves across various industries.
As an ophthalmologist, I recently explored the implications of ChatGPT for and in ophthalmology. In this presentation, I discussed how this advanced AI is shaping the future of eye care and its potential impact.

- ChatGPT in ophthalmology
-
ChatGPT is being explored as a support tool in ophthalmology, helping patients and clinicians with clear information about eye conditions, treatments, and general care pathways. This concept is expanded in my presentation.
-
- Future of ChatGPT in ophthalmology
-
There’s growing interest in how ChatGPT might assist ophthalmic care in the future — from patient education to admin support — but in my opinion it’s no replacement for clinical judgment. The concept is expanded in my presentation.
